Buyer Beware
My car was involved in a single car accident. Since my wife was not familiar with the local towing companies; the Sheriff Deputy called Saxon's Wrecker and Automotive Service, owned by Jimmy Flynt. They towed the vehicle about 4 miles. I returned retrieved the vehicle one day and I was charged $380.00 for a 4 mile tow and overnight storage. I was told at the counter that it had to be paid in cash and this was state law. The pattern continues.

The breakdown on the fee was:
$125.00 Tow
$30.00 for 4 miles (they listed 10, but I drove it) As I read the county prescribed fees you can only be charged after the first 10 miles.
$50.00 Storage (1 night) As I read the county prescribed fees the rate is $25.00/day
$125.00 Admin/Notice of Lien - Again I was told at the counter that this was state law. This appears to be pattern abuse again
$50.00 Yard Fee (another made up fee?)

Total $380.00 for a 4 mile tow and overnight storage.

I feel fleeced and led astray to say the least. DO YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY? BUYER BEWARE!!!

Why is Flagler county allowing a business like this to be the first exposure to Flagler County for so many people. You can be assured it has impacted my impression of Bunnell and the county.
